At the rex, we believe that a break in nature is the key to optimal performance. Through our hotel, we endeavour to maximize your break in the mountains through focusing on natural surroundings, wellness and healthy food. Our spaces are created for you to slow-down and counterbalance the stress of everyday life & maybe we even inspire you a little bit to live healthier and more balanced throughout the year.
The Front Office Team is considered the heart of the hotel. Not only will you communicate with guests before, during and after their stay to ensure their satisfaction, but you will also coordinate all other departments to create the best possible guest experience.
-Make sure the setting is right (music, lighting etc.) and that the guests are in a good mood.
-Greeting and saying goodbye to guests in a warm and personal way.
-Helping the guests to enjoy their stay in Zermatt
-Taking and processing reservations
-Cares about guest satisfaction and shows interest in the guests' Zermatt experience
-Supports the bar
-Correctly accounts for all transactions via the property management system
-Open-minded, curious and interested in other people's lives.

After we received your application as a candidate, we will sort all application and if selected, invite you for interviews either on-site or via Zoom. There is a series of interviews with the department head and 2 other people from the hotel to get to know you and your interest in working with us.
We are doing everything to minimize split shifts, to completely get rid of them is not possible for us yet. However we aim for an average of only 2 split shifts per month in some of the gastronomy positions, in all other positions we could already find solutions to not have them!
Sure! We are are always excited to get to know interesting people, and who knows maybe there is an opening we did not post yet!
We do have some studios and apartments we can sublet and if we do not have any left we are strongly supporting the search and renting of an accommodation to make your transition to Zermatt as easy as possible!
