Johan is the founder of the Soeder Soap collective. The core competence of the collective, which was founded in 2013 by Olzon and his girlfriend Hanna Akerström in Zürich, lies in simple, contemporary basics for everyday life. "Functional, close to material and sustainable" is Soeder's credo.
"The crucial point for us was that soap in its 'original' form no longer exists. Real soap is made from saponifiable oils, whereas nowadays it is common for them to be made from artificial surfactants. We then made the decision to produce 'real' soap and started our development with the aim of producing the best possible soap"
"In addition, we wanted to reduce the use of plastic as much as possible in packaging, so we opted for glass bottles instead of plastic bottles. That was three years ago and a lot has happened since then"
"We rely on the help of farmers to produce the distillates. Suppliers vary depending on availability and season, yet proximity to us is very important"
At the rex, we care about real products from natural materials as much as possible. From top to bottom, from the spa to the bedrooms, our hotel has soeder soap, shampoo and lotion for you to use. All contained in the distinctive refillable glass bottles.
